Fluke offers complete range of power quality tools for three-phase systems (15/01/2007)
Fluke offers a complete range of power quality tools for three-phase systems, offering a choice of solutions for pinpointing power problems faster in a wide range of industrial, commercial and domestic installations.
The instruments include the Fluke 1740 Series Power Quality Loggers and the 1735 Power Logger, as well as two products offering IEC 61000-4-30 Class A-compliance - the handheld 430 Series Power Quality Analysers and the 1760 Power Quality Recorder. A free DVD, 'Power quality in industrial applications', focuses on the best use of power quality tools to prevent equipment failure and downtime in industrial applications.
The 1735 Power Logger records power, energy, and basic power quality parameters for power load studies. It logs electrical power parameters and harmonics for up to 45 days, and captures hard-to-find voltage events. The collected data can be easily downloaded, either locally to a laptop or back in the office. Fluke Power Log software is included for viewing graphs and generating reports.
The 1743, 1744 and 1745 Power Quality Loggers are designed to simultaneously log up to 500 parameters for up to 85 days, helping to uncover intermittent and hard-to-find power quality issues for technicians troubleshooting and analysing power distribution systems. Each compact instrument is supplied with powerful software and triple-range current probes.
The 435 is the high-end model in the company's line of three-phase, 600V CAT IV and 1000V CAT III safety-rated, handheld power quality analysers. It is designed to help users pinpoint power problems faster and in greater detail with on-screen display of trends and captured events, even while background recording continues.
It features full IEC 61000-4-30 Class A compliance, expanded memory and measurement capability and a user-configurable logging function. Users can easily view logged data and generate reports with the Fluke Power Log software, included with the unit.
The 1760 Power Quality Recorder is designed for the most demanding power quality tests and analysis of utility and industrial power distribution systems in medium and low voltage networks. Test results can be acknowledged as evidence in contractual applications and legal disputes. It provides the flexibility to customise thresholds, algorithms and measurement selections.
Developed in cooperation with power utilities providers, it is optimised for field use in general industrial and power-critical applications such as electric utility distribution networks, hospitals and processing plants. The 1760 offers rapid plug-and-play operation with automatic detection of voltage and current sensors, 2GB of compact flash memory and comprehensive power quality analysis software.
Livingston UK, a key rental partner for Fluke industrial test tools, has expanded its portfolio to include Fluke's wide range of power quality tools.
