Merchant navy: A prosperous market for BCV Technologies

BCV Technologies, a company of Schneider Electric, has received a new order for 20 transformers. They will equip 5 Chinese container ships, representing a total of 8,000 containers.
The transformers will be dedicated to power the 5 ships and for the general supply of the refrigerated containers. The delivery will be split in separate batches: 1 set of 4 transformers per each ship. 2 sets are expected for end of 2006, 3 for 2007.
BCV Technologies is located in Fontenay Le Comte (Vendée, France). With about 150 collaborators, BCV is the French leader in the design and manufacture of dry type impregnated and cast resin transformers, autotransformers, windings and reactors.
