IRISS APPOINTMENT TO SUPPORT GLOBAL GROWTH

Evidence of David Smith’s hard work is clearly visible at IRISS. Since he joined the company as a Technical Sales Advisor in Spring last year he has been developing a distributor network throughout Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia for IRISS electrical maintenance safety devices. It’s a range of products that includes the company’s hallmark, polymer infrared windows which have spearheaded sales in all of these markets.

In order that he can focus on strengthening and supporting these important sales channels David Smith has now been appointed to the post of Business Development Manager for IRISS. He will continue to be based at the company’s UK headquarters in Chelmsford.

“The need to protect companies from electrical system failure without compromising the safety of the maintenance team is the same the world over,” David Smith explained. “Some markets are driven by more health and safety legislation than others but essentially the use of electrical maintenance safety devices makes sound business sense. And it’s a concept that is now being adopted by end users and OEMs alike.”

IRISS is on the threshold of introducing more products to its EMSD range and David Smith will also be confirming the appointment of additional distributors.
