Legrand has added a range of proximity sensors to its BTicino door entry and access control systems.

The key fob operated system, which allows up to 500 users access to one or two entrances, is simple to both install and use, and does not require complex computer programming to set-up. In addition, it can be easily expanded to accommodate additional key fob holders.

As well as being available as a stand-alone product, the proximity sensors can be fully integrated into all other BTicino modular entrance panels to provide additional functions. This innovation means its appeal to specifiers, particularly in the residential sector where access control is fast making significant inroads.

“As a stand alone product our BTicino proximity sensors provide a secure and cost-effective solution,” said Legrand’s Dave Watkins. “Add to this the flexibility of combing it with any of our existing audio and video access control solutions and the result is a fully integrated system that has the capability to suit any installation scenario, whether commercial or residential.”
