Borri B50 single phase UPS meets smaller backup needs for small CCTV systems, EPOS and IT applications

Borri has recently launched the Borri B50, a radical cost effective solution which is ideal for office and domestic use. The single phase UPS has been designed to meet smaller backup needs for applications such as small CCTV systems, EPOS and IT applications.

The B50 ranges from 600VA to 1.5kVA, with 4 UPS in the series. Most desktop computers operate within this power range, making the B50 ideal to prevent your PC from suffering power failures. As the B50 is highly cost affective, many like-for-like UPS can be cheaply designed and have dated technology.

The B50 isn’t like its competitors; it’s designed with Line Interactive AVR technology (Automatic Voltage Regulation), which is of massive importance to any small UPS. The AVR technology allows the input voltage to fluctuate by as much as -30% to +20% without having to engage the batteries, this feature greatly extends battery life. The AVR combined with robust spike arrestors protects your PC against sags and surges thus providing a clean and constant supply to the users IT equipment.

Borri have also included a number of features to increase the ease of use. The B50 acts as a plug and play UPS, allowing for a straightforward installation. Another great advantage is that the B50 comes with free monitoring software; this software allows the UPS to be monitored and managed remotely. By installing the software the user or IT manager can actively view the performance of the UPS and also the battery life when under mains fail conditions.
