New Certification Director for EC Certification and ELECSA Part P scheme

Chris Beedel has recently been appointed as Certification Director for EC Certification, who own and operate the ELECSA Part P scheme. One of his main responsibilities will be the launch of ELECSA's new Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS), which is aimed at contractors installing domestic renewable technologies.

Since joining the team at ELECSA Chris has played a key role in achieving UKAS accreditation for their Part P scheme. With over 20 years experience of third party certification, he has worked in the construction and sustainability sectors in Europe, North America and Japan.

Chris said "this is an exciting opportunity to work with the experienced staff at ELECSA to continue to grow the business. One of our key strengths is that many members of our team have worked in the contracting industry and have a good understanding of the issues that face contractors on a daily basis."
