Takbro launches a range of added value services for termination products

Takbro has launched a range of added value services for termination products. These include custom packing and labelling, kitting and the supply of matched tooling.

Takbro's standard crimp terminals cover a wide range of termination styles including, for example, ring, spade and push-on types. They are available in insulated versions for use with cables from 0.5 mm2 to 6 mm2, as well as in uninsulated versions for cables from 0.5 mm2 to 500 mm2. The company offers high-performance matched tooling for all sizes.

Insulated terminals are normally supplied with PVC insulation and flared cable entries to aid rapid fitting, and to help ensure that all conductor strands are crimped. For high temperature and other special applications, nylon and polycarbonate insulated versions are offered. Insulated terminals can also be supplied on request, with funnel cable entries and selected types are available mounted on tape for use with automated crimping machines.

Uninsulated sheet-type crimp terminals from Takbro are manufactured from material that combines high ductility for ease of crimping with outstanding electrical conductivity to ensure minimal heating even in high current applications.
