Switch to low energy the easy way with JCC Lighting (03/11/2008)
Some energy suppliers indicate that energy bills could increase by up to 40% this winter, something that will affect every home and commercial building. With top energy manufacturers predicting massive increases in gas and electricity over the next few years, now is the time to start thinking about ways to reduce energy consumption.
Switching to low energy lighting is one way to reduce bills and save the environment. And to help you make the switch JCC Lighting has launched a new catalogue dedicated purely to low energy lighting products.
With over 100 pages of products and information, JCC’s new catalogue makes it simple for wholesalers and contractors to make the switch to low energy lighting that satisfies the latest building regulations and energy saving directives.
Incorporated in this handy A5 catalogue are the key product ranges, as well as over 20 new products, highlighting JCC’s many solutions for lighting efficiency in today’s environment. Designed to be used alongside Catalogue 21, this new catalogue simply provides wholesalers and contractors with a useful shortcut to finding the right product.
A key feature of all the low energy fittings in this catalogue is that they are not retrofit, ensuring JCC’s products comply with Part L of the building regulations. Each fitting is built to take a specific lamp type, so an incandescent or halogen equivalent lamp cannot be used.
New products include the contemporary Cristillo bathroom range. This new design incorporates two wall mounted luminaires that are neatly connected by a smart toughened glass shelf. The kit includes all the necessary fixings and accessories for ease of installation. The G9 lampholders are suitable for Megaman’s new 7Watt CFL which boasts high lumen output from a very low wattage.
The Diaz triple plate spotlight is a decorative home fitting. This new contemporary spotlight range incorporates the new 11W GU10 CFL from Megaman. It’s available in two styles of heads, and finishes of brushed nickel, chrome or white to suit any domestic application. The innovations continue with LED light kits for kickboards and kitchen applications, outdoor step and spotlights and semi-commercial bollards.
This easy to use catalogue has been created to provide a one stop shop for energy saving products. By using the latest lamp technologies, it’s possible to cut energy bills and significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions. A new low energy symbol will accompany all JCC low energy products from now on, making it easy for you to source low energy solutions at a glance.
