Vision amplifiers boost and distribute digital TV signals around the home

Electrical contractors increasingly called on to supply and fit TV reception and distribution equipment. There's currently a lot of concern over pre- and post-switchover Freeview signal levels so aerial amplification is becoming increasingly important, with the widely varying signal levels available for digital terrestrial TV across the country, and the need for long cable runs to serve multiple TVs. The Vision Gold V20 range of UHF aerial amplifiers from Vision Products is the surest route to reliable, problem-free reception of Freeview digital terrestrial TV in low signal areas, or for installations with several TVs and/or long cable runs.
Vision Gold V20 amplifiers use the ultimate in ultra-low noise, cutting edge technology for high quality reception and distribution of digital terrestrial TV signals. They feature gold-plated F-connectors for all inputs and outputs, and specially developed filtering to eliminate interference from emergency services radio transmissions. All Vision Gold V20 amplifiers can be installed outdoors at the ‘masthead’ for the minimum noise and interference delivered to the connected receiver(s).
Single-output, 2-way and 4-way models cater for up to four televisions around the home, and multi-input models amplify and combine TV, FM and DAB signals on one co-ax downcable. Single and multi-output models are provided with variable gain so they can be easily tailored to the individual system. Fixed gain single output units are also available.
Capable of operating with a higher input level than other products available (up to 87dBV), the Vision Gold V20 range will not be overloaded by the more powerful DTT signals to be broadcast after Digital Switchover – and are suitable to ‘fit and forget’ now.
The exclusive Vision Products ABS housing protects the Vision Gold V20 electronics and connections from the hostile UK weather, and is ventilated to prevent corrosion from condensation. The housing is quickly and securely fixed to a mast or a wall, without templates, and provides weatherproof cable exits for all co-ax cable sizes up to ‘type 125’ without threading the cable through holes or fitting grommets.
Power is supplied remotely to the Vision Gold V20 via any of the outputs and all models operate on 5V-12V allowing operation with newer models of TVs and set top boxes with a powered UHF input (5V) or from the sealed, cool-running Vision V23 in-line indoor power supply (12V) available separately.
Uniquely, Vision Gold V20 amplifiers use semiconductors developed for digital signal processing in the mobile phone industry to deliver high performance with exceptionally low noise and reduced power consumption.
All Vision Gold V20 products are designed and built in the UK.

Available in 4-way, 6-way and 8-way models, the Vision V65 amplifiers provide a higher signal gain than most other distribution amplifiers to overcome losses on long cable runs. A variable level control provides for optimal matching to the system. This often means that an outdoor ‘masthead’ amplifier will not be required in most installations.
Designed for digital terrestrial signals and enhanced for UK digital reception, with SMD technology used throughout, the Vision V65 distribution amplifiers provide low noise amplification and high reliability at a competitive price. Full screening of the electronics, and
F-connectors on all inputs and outputs ensure the integrity of the signals and keep interference to a minimum.
The Vision V65 amplifiers are housed in a tough ABS case with visible screw-through mounting holes needing no template, and include a built-in mains power supply. They are for use indoors.
